Best platforms to pay UGC creators per view (2026)
Most brands we talk to have tried paying per video. They buy twenty videos, two take off, eighteen sit at a few hundred views, and the money went out before anyone knew which was which.
Paying per view fixes the order of things. A creator posts on their own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook account, and you pay for the views the post actually gets. Here is how it works, and the four platforms we would look at if we were buying today, us included.

What it looked like for one app
Pose Genius is an AI camera app that coaches your poses. Ads were not moving installs, so our team ran a per-view campaign for them on NewWave: 9 creators, 184 videos, 11.5 million views in eight weeks. The cost per 1,000 views started at $11.05 and fell to $0.90 as we found the formats that worked and moved budget behind them. The full story is in the case study.
“We'd spent months on ads and social with almost nothing to show for it. NewWave got us past 11 million views and real downloads in two months, and built the creative playbook we still run on today.”
How per-view pay works
- You set a rate per 1,000 views (CPM), and optionally bonuses at view tiers or a flat amount per video.
- Creators post the approved video on their own accounts.
- The platform reads view counts from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook on a schedule. Nobody sends screenshots.
- After a set window, often 7 to 14 days, views freeze and the payout is locked in.
- The platform pays the creator from a budget you funded up front.

The platforms at a glance

| SideShift | Large applicant pools of Gen Z creators | $210/month billed yearly | Not published |
| Content Rewards (Whop) | Open pools of clippers, no subscription | $1,000 minimum budget | 10% platform fee (8% verified) |

1. NewWave
That is us, so weigh this one accordingly. Creators apply to your campaign, e-sign a contract, film from your brief, and send videos you approve or send back with timestamped notes before anything posts. Once live, views refresh every 2 hours on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and every 4 hours on Facebook. Payouts come out of a prepaid wallet and go through Stripe to creators in 100+ countries.
- Pay models: per 1,000 views, view-tier bonuses, per video, a fixed warm-up payment, and retainers that hold per-video pay until a creator hits a posting target.
- Timing: a 14-day view window by default, paid in one lump sum or as views come in, on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.
- Cost: plans from $199/month with a 7-day free trial. No cut of creator pay; card deposits carry a processing fee and bank transfers do not.
- AI: an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Codex draft campaigns, score applicants, and pull analytics.
2. SideShift
SideShift is a job board where creators, mostly Gen Z, apply to post for you. If you want a lot of applicants quickly, it is hard to beat: it says a median job gets 284 applications in its first 48 hours, and the median account lands at $7 to $9 a video. You set a base fee plus an optional view bonus. Starter is $210/month billed yearly ($299 month to month), and it has its own MCP server.
3. Content Rewards on Whop
Content Rewards is the campaign app on Whop, with an open pool it puts at more than 1 million creators. You fund at least $1,000, set a rate per 1,000 views with a minimum and maximum per video, and creators in the pool post. There is no subscription. Brands pay a 10% platform fee (8% if verified) plus processing, and creators pay 10% unless the campaign is per-post or retainer at $5,000 or more.
4. viral.app
viral.app tracks creator content on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Snapchat Spotlight, and pays creators by salary, per video, CPM tiers, or view-threshold bonuses. Plans start at $99/month with views refreshed every 24 hours, and a 3% payout management fee is added on top of each payout. It also has an App Store revenue integration and a REST API with webhooks.
Which one we would pick
- You want as many people posting as possible and do not need to pick them: Content Rewards.
- You want lots of applicants fast at a low price per video: SideShift.
- You already have creators and mostly need tracking, Snapchat included: viral.app.
- You want to choose every creator, see every video before it posts, and pay on views or retainers without a cut of creator pay: NewWave.
Per-view pay only works if creators trust the money will show up. Here is how one of ours put it:
“The process is also really smooth from application to payment. The platform has helped me build good partnerships with brands and it's been a great tool for growing my UGC career.”
