This page explains how to delete data NewWave Platforms, Inc. holds about you, including any advertising account you have connected. You can do all of it yourself, and you do not need to contact us first.
Deleting a connected ad account
If you connected a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or TikTok ad account so NewWave could show your paid performance alongside your organic performance:
- Sign in at app.new-wave.ai.
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the ad account and click Disconnect.
Disconnecting is immediate and permanent. It deletes our stored access token for that account and every advertising statistic we had pulled from it. Nothing is retained and there is no recovery window — reconnecting later starts from an empty history.
Deleting your whole NewWave account
To delete your account and all associated data, email us from the address on the account:
- Send a message to support@new-wave.ai with the subject “Delete my account”.
- We will confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days.
Some records may be retained where the law requires it — for example, transaction and tax records for completed payments. We keep only what we are legally obliged to keep, and never use it for any other purpose.
What gets deleted
When you disconnect an ad account, we delete:
- the access token we stored for that ad account;
- the ad account’s identifier, name and currency;
- every daily advertising statistic we retrieved — impressions, clicks, reach, spend and conversions.
NewWave only ever reads advertising reporting data. We never create, edit, pause or delete an ad, and we never spend your budget. Deleting your NewWave data has no effect on your ads or on anything inside your Meta or TikTok account.
Revoking access from Facebook
Disconnecting inside NewWave removes our copy of your data. If you also want to withdraw the permission you granted, you can remove NewWave from Facebook directly:
- Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations on Facebook.
- Find NewWave and choose Remove.
Doing this alone revokes our access but does not delete data we have already stored, so use the Disconnect step above as well if you want both.
